DIY POPSICLE HONEYCOMB SHELF

Hola!

Do you think the walls of your room are pretty dull and boring? I got you!

Here’s how you could a bit of pop to your walls. An effortless and easy DIY with simple things available in stationery shops.

I’ll show you how to do this DIY in two ways. You could use whichever way you like.

If you like this DIY show some love by leaving your comments. Make sure you follow my blog and to share it with your friends!

THINGS NEEDED

•Popsicle sticks (you need a lotttt!!) [You could also use multicolored popsicle sticks. If you use multicolored ones you don’t need a gold paint. Skip the painting process] •Hot glue gun ( or any strong glue or Fevicol) •Gold spray paint (or gold acrylic paint) •Newspapers

PROCEDURE Make a layout with the ice-cream sticks (6 sticks).

Draw a hexagon shape on a blank paper.

Precisely to the length of the ice cream sticks.

Then overlap the sticks on one another.

Using a glue gun put needed amount of glue (more like a drop) on one side and stick it on the other stick.

Repeat the same step with the other sticks.

When the first layer is done, repeat the same step with the other layers until you get a desired stack of sticks.

Keep sticking till the sticks raise up to a good height.

Then take the gold spray paint and and spray paint the popsicle sticks. (Make sure to lay newspapers on the floor and do this in a place where nothing’s around you so that those things won’t get stained with gold paint).

Or you could also use a gold acrylic paint to paint the popsicle sticks. (Do not mix water with your paint or else your DIY would end up in a pathetic way.) Jk. : P Use the raw paint and don’t use water to mix it. And let them dry for an hour or so.

And then… Yaayy!! You are done!

You have made an effortlessly stunning DIY that would make your wall look so elegant and classic. I’ve done using multi-coloured popsicle sticks.

You can keep anything which size would fit in the shelf. Like a cactus, small teddy bears, a cute little plant, etc.

As for me, I’ve kept my Starbucks coffee cup inside it. You could also do the same. : ) Do share it with your friends and leave your comments below (please please) so that I’ll know that you’ve seen this post. And don’t forget to follow. Thank you! Bahbye! xo
