Hey! Today, I'm sharing a very lovely holiday, wintery, mist-filled photo style dump post full of photos from our recent trip to Ooty. Hope you like it!

On the night of the 15th of January, we left for Ooty with expectant hearts. We reached Mettupalayam early in the morning. We took a car and reached Coonoor in less than two hours.

I was awestruck! Darn. The place we stayed in and the view was so beautiful. All misty and scenic.

~DAY 1~

Day 1 was the most fun!! Honestly, I don't remember every place or every detail 'cause I was so soaked in the moment! But I remember going to Doddabetta, Tea Factory, Boating and a Park.

~DAY 2~

On the second day of our trip, we went to Mudhumalai. It is roughly 50kms from Ooty and it took us only about an hour and a half to reach there. The journey by car from Coonoor to Mudhumalai was eye-catching with an array of dense forest on both sides and exotic, wildlife animals. The sight of deers hopping around, monkeys and gray langurs jumping around, beautiful peacocks and the mere path that we traveled through were pleasing to the eye.

We got to go to this place called Needle Point View. Although we had to hike a little, the view was worth it. The view from the top was simply breath-taking!

Then, we went to Pykara Falls to see nothing. Yeah, it was a real bummer to find nothing good there. Nevertheless, I got to have amazing snacks after that. 🤤

The LAST AND FINAL PART OF THE 2nd DAY HAS TO BE MY FAVOURITE!! We traveled by the famous Toy Train from Ooty to Coonoor! YAY! The train was aesthetically beautiful and the journey was amazing too. It was a one-hour ride from Ooty to Coonoor. Luckily, we took a 6 o'clock train and I got to see the stunning misty-sky tinted with shades of pink as the sun was setting. Being a Sunset Lover that I am, this was the best thing that I could ask for.

This world is just beautiful. There is so much out there. Even little things in our daily life that go unnoticed like this beautiful sunset that we see every day has a lot of meaning. There is so much beauty in nature. God has created this world so beautifully that I can’t help but wonder ‘HOW?’.

~DAY 3~

The last day of the trip was meant for some chilling and clicking pictures!

Then, we headed back to Mettupalayam Station, took our train and returned back to Chennai.

This Holiday was indeed one of the best Holidays I’ve had so far. It was an amazing trip with amazing people! These are memories that I would always cherish! Can't wait to visit Ooty again!
